Suggestions for Dealer in LA for Service A
I was wondering which dealer would be the best to go to for my service A in LA. I live near UCLA. Just asking because I have a couple mods and don't want the dealer to blacklist my car or something from warranty service just because of some thermotec foil or pulley changes.
Thanks

The best.
they know how to take care of you and the car. i had my car there last week 15 items, incl service A and they took care of all them.
Gave me a courtsy car, not rental for 6 days (c230)
Call Rod 818-788-0234

i go to W.I. Simonson in santa monica... my advisor treats me well... although I don't have any mods that would void my general warranty, they treat me & my car pretty good...
i have a good relation with my advisor, so he hooks me up real well too... hella nice guy too...

Service A
What does a Service A include? Would this be a good time to mention some quirkiness about the car with the advisor? BTW, I though all MB dealers will provide a free loaner when your MB vehicle is in for service?

Yes it's a good time to tell all you other problems you have with the car. I did, and it took them about week to get everything fix.
About a loner car, if they have MB available yes, but if they don’t or you did not make arrangement for one you will have to rent, no need to pay, only insurance if your does not cover.

But, if you are driving a CLK 500, they will come up with a Mercedes loaner for you. It's apparently the C-Class drivers who get the shaft.

C230K
I've only gone to the Beverly Hills for Service (including my Service A back in early October '03). For me, it's a hit and miss there; sometimes, the reps are extrememly helpful to me and my C230K.
I'm actually about to call today to ask if they rotated my tires b/c I see no indication on my Service A invoice. Isn't/Shouldn't tire rotations be part of the Service A? Otherwise, I haven't rotated tires since I got my car!!
As far as loaners here, I got a Camry my first time. For my Service A, I thought it was hilarious and sad b/c I went from a 230K to a 240 sedan and this older professional gentleman next in line went from a CLK or an S-class to a C230K. I felt bad b/c he was probably twice the size of me, if not more.
Not sure if they messed up the loaner disbursement? :p
