Does it void Benz warranty if i installed OEM Euro spec command?
Hi Guys,

I am planning to get a Euro Spec command on my 03 CLK320. But i was wondering that does it void Benz factory warranty if i bring in for regular service. Has anyone haD command installed afterward and having any warranty issue?

they shouldn't void any warranty because of the COMAND install... of course, ur COMAND won't be covered by mfr warranty.... only possible voids are for those things connected directly to the COMAND, and they have to prove that the COMAND caused the fault...

CLK 240
An additional question would be - do I need to tell my insurers about this as a modification to the original spec? They always ask the question, but I don't think this is what they had in mind!

Most dealers won't even realize you've upgraded to the COMAND since according to them, it's impossible to do. When they see it in there, they'll probably assume it came like that.
