A/C Flap Motor - Ticking

Hello all,

I read as many forum post as i Could and I understand my issue but...I have several questions.

1.Any guides out there as far as how to get to this spot. (Removing Top Dash)
2.from what i understand there is an "easy" flap/stepper actuator to get to and "hard" which one does it seem to be in my situation ? Seems like its coming right above the radio.
3.Has anyone done this procedure and how long will it take?

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks,

NO LONGER ACTIVE
Removing the top section of the dash won't help. If it's one of the hard" ones, then you have to pull the entire ventilation duct housing:

Here are the docs for each flap:

Note that the ones for "LeftRight" don't apply to your car as you have the enhanced dual-zone (those are for the base system without separate vent controls fro left and right). You will see a few that can be accessed without removing the housing, but even then, they can be a challenge.

Thanks

Jesus, lol... I think my next step is to do a Full Diagnostic figure out which one is throwing the error code maybe narrow it down. Didn't think it was this complicated.

Thanks Rud.
