I like 19" HREs.

My favorites are 540R, 543R, and 547R.

I've got some pics. Unfortunately the server won't let me post. Strange. The file is only 24KB.
thank you, but they are 19" wheels.. 19x 8.5 in the front and 19x10 in the rear.. also, you can e-mail me the pics tjnptel1@***.net and i can put 'em up on your behalf.

AMG_BRED?!?! Aw geez...
841Rs!!! SWEET!!!

Too late...I ordered a set of high polish HRE 840Rs today.

19x8.5 fronts
19x9.5 rears

Toyo TS-1
235/35/19 fronts
265/30/19 rears

I'll post pics in about 6 weeks...with AMG_BRED's help (thanks for the offer)

I'm thinking of getting the 14"/355mm Brembo Big Brake kit. Anyone know if this would eliminate (or significantly reduce) the brake dust I get on my front tires? If I do get them, does anyone know where I can get a donut spare that clears the Brembos?

Sorry AMG_BRED. I thought you had 18". My apologies.

Preferably Me!

You should get 18x7.5 and 18x8.5 because that is the standard wheel of the CLK55 in Germany.

Correct me if im wrong but arent the 235/35 and 275/30 the same overall diameter? the 265/30 is like .3 inches shorter than the fronts..

CLK 270 Avantgarde Auto
DG53CLK,

if that names got anything to do with your registration number, and you're in N.W.England or N.Wales then 19s are way too extreme for our road conditions. They might look great but when you've crashed through a few potholes then they'll look awful and the ride will suffer.

Best option is to follow AMG and go for 225/40/18 front on 7.5 or 8 inch rims (anything wider will have no protection from kerbing) and 8.5 (9.0 inch max) with 255/35/18 rears.

Alternatively use same rims and 225/40 tyres front and rear - at least you can swap front to back to even tyre wear if required.

255/35 rears typically £40 each dearer than 225/40's. Go for 19's and not only are you limited by tyre make but prices rise £40-£50 per tyre again.

I thought about getting 19x10s in the rear, but since I'll be putting a subwoofer system in the trunk, I was concerned about rubbing (if I had the sub and two adults in the back.) I thought I better go safe with the 9.5s.

Unhappy SPINNERS

If any of you guys know where I can obtain 18" Spinning alloys similiar to the ones they have for sale in the USA , I have seen then on vacation there but the shipping costs were a bit excessive , perhaps somebody knows of a European Importer??
Maybe all the above would be abit naff & may stick to the 18" Factory fitted Amg's

Regards
Alex

Nice site. Carlsson is "Exclusively for BMW". Thats something new to me.

You will be taken down very soon because you are not supposed to solicit business in here.
