Rear Suspension Creaking Very Loudly
I've got a really loud constant creaking noise coming from the rear suspension on my W209 CLK 240. It started on the left hand side and has now started to do the same thing on the other side too. I've tried oiling every joint, bush, arm, the springs, the sway bar, the shock absorbers, the drive shaft, EVERYTHING and it won't stop! It gets worse when it's cold. There's a video on my Facebook page - https://m.facebook.com/story.php?sto...6&id=574674015
Any help / advice would be much appreciated!

What oil are you using? WD40 or other light oils an actually mike this worse. You need an appropriate grease made for rubber fittings. Also, you should inspect the rubber on the tie rods and thrust arms. If it looks cracked, that's likely the source. Also, this could be in the shocks. If you can duplicate the problem by bouncing the car, try using a mechanic's stethoscope the isolate the noise.
