Help with Harmon Kardon problems

Help with Harmon Kardon problems

Today my HK system all of a sudden started sounding like crap. Everything I play, radio, CD, Aux all have this static noise over the music. Like old school TV static. I played with the fader to isolate a speaker but it seems like all the speakers are doing it. Any idea what the problem is?

NO LONGER ACTIVE

Mine does this one or twice a year. Shutting off the ignition usually "reboots" things and makes it work again. I have heard that this is a failure inside the head unit itself.

Yup happened to me the first time a week ago. Turned off the car and opened the door and it went away. Hopefully doesn't come back
