What should I do to my '03 CLK 240?

Hi,

Rims
Interior
Body Styling/Accessories
Exhausts etc
debadging

Anything you can think of?

Thanks guys

hi d00d.

first of all you gotta but yourself a set of rims, 19" IS the way to go.
there's alot of them out there, but i like those AMG makes, not too sporty like HRE.
http://search.ebay.co.uk/ws/search/S...4770&catref=C1
did a search on ebay.co.uk for mercedes rims found som nice ones..

bodykit isn't necessary, my $.02. but i like the amg if i had to choose.

maybe install a command unit if your car didn't come with it from factory.

Hi,

I like those twin spoke AMG type rims. But I think that they only o them in 18s from mercedes?

Also is it possible to debadge the 240 sign, so it just says CLK and put a 55AMG sign on the right side of the back? Can you buy these sign like that? And is it possible?

With 19s how much do you need to lower the car?

Know how much the AMG body kits are and can I get them direct from mercedes?

Thanks for all the help guys

Yeah it's do'able to debadge and put on 55 plates the amg bodykit would be best, have you got part numbers im interrested in prices i already have the lip spoiler and im getting lm6's i think.

wait a minute herre, why pay like 50k dollars for a benz and the debadge it, everyone that knows a litte about cars would see that it was a fake and just laugh and for those who don't know a a shiiit about cars doesnt know what 55AMG means.

no you dont need new springs for 19"s..

is there any 19" amgs that fits on the CLK?

Hey guys,

First of all thanks for all the feedback - much appricitaed

I just want to take of ONLY the 240 sign (not the mercedes or CLK signs)

Just then want to add the 55AMG sign to the right

I don't think they have 19s AMGs for the CLK

What about 18s, I like the AMG twin spoke?

Thanks guys

I asked my dealer a few months ago and seem to recall it was $3000-4000. Each of the pieces were well over $1000. This was without painting and installation.

For part #'s:

Hey.

I looked at a few things on ebay (just minor things for the car.......would prefer to go through mercedes for the larger things - do you agree?)

How do you guys like these.

I was talking about putting an AMG and 55 Sign on the car - some one is selling them on ebay, but they seem quite cheap in price - who do you think?:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=2452233348

Would it be easy to remove the old ones and put these on?

Also I saw some seatbelt pads things, which I have always wanted, but never got round to buying them. How do they look......good or not?:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...category=40196

Lastly I say these AMG pedals:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...category=40197

How do they look? and are they easy to install?

Thanks for all your feedback, very much appriciated

Akhil

Some mods to consider:

1. AMG Spoiler -- $400

2. Leather / Wood Steering WHeel -- ~$800

I would stay away from the fake badges. Especially if you don't have the AMG kit. Looks a little silly.

Also - what about these pedals?:

Are they hard to install? Anyone done these before?

Thanks

I like it. The nearest car is the CLK 320 though, I have a 240, would this make a difference?

Any other good kits around?

Thanks
