a light winter project..

I was thinking about taking the wheels of my car, tapping them up, and painting the AMG logo on the spokes. Just a flat black might look good. Itll be a good time to flip them over and clean the whole barrel of brake dust as well. Comments are welcome..

NO LONGER ACTIVE
Many people believe that putting the AMG logo on non-AMG parts is sort of "posing". My CLK550 is not an AMG car, but it does have the AMG-designed wheels and exhaust tips with the logo. Personally, I don't care much for that and would prefer these parts be plain, since the car itself is not an AMG.

I would not do it. Your car is no more an AMG than it is a Ferrari so you might as well paint Ferrari on the wheels.

I am all for cleaning and refurbishing but you probably don't want to end up in the poser thread in the clk55 forum.
