Does anyone have the comfort package?

I am going to be purchasing a 2004 CLK 320 in the next couple of weeks. I am debating on whether or not to get the heated seats, the active ventilated seats, or the entire comfort package. Does anyone have an opinion on this? Is the comfort package a waste of money over the heated seats. It's going to be 15 degrees tomorrow here in Northern NJ, so heated seats are a must. Has anyone been in the lumbar seats that the CLK55 has? Also, is that fact that the option has been delayed until now give a greater possibility for problems? Thank you.

The seats in the CLK are not dynamic (well, in the UK at any rate), that is, they don't massage or automatically inflate/deflate when going round corners as in the E-Class seats.

The multi-contour seats are for adjusting the shape of the backrest and seat base 4 different ways. I found that by adjusting the length of the seat base to support the thigh better, I managed to get rid of a dull ache in my right leg when driving longish distances

I couldn't tell the difference when the ventilated seats were on or off, but this was in a car that wasn't particularly cold inside due to it being quite chilly outside (and we didn't have the air conditioning blasting cold air inside). The ventilated seats work by drawing air from underneath the seat through the perforations in the seats (the perforations are now all over the seat rather than just in the middle of the seat base and backrest). Therefore, if the air isn't cold in the car, you're unlikely to notice it.

However, I'm hoping that when it is summer in the UK (well, maybe a day or two at any rate!) that I'll notice the ventilated seats more.

One neat touch, is that if you use the key to globally open all windows from the outside of the car before you get in (say to get some air into the car climbing in), then the driver's ventilated seat is automatically switched on to cool the seat before you get into the car. Nice
