wtf

$250 for a rear drivers side tail light!! son of a b
I always wanted a mercedes (My last car was an e46 328ci) but these repair bills are quickly starting to add up! I never had to spend a dime on my e46 in almost 2 years of ownership. My lower ball joint has gone too and it's squeeking like a ****. I just passed the bar in the summer so I'm not exactly flush lol.

Sounds pretty normal to me. Just wait until you need a new crank position sensor, transmission flush and the glove box won't open. All European cars take some $$ to keep on the road.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
Find a car where a tail light assembly is under $200 and I'll be surprised. As for the ball joint, are you sure that's what it is? The most common source of noise on the front suspension are the anti-sway bar frame bushings. They need lubrication or replacement. Mine are dry now and a left turn makes so much noise, you;d think it was some sort of horrible problem, but it does this every year. A quick coat of grease lasts until nest winter.
