Clk fuel pump releasing pressure
I noticed a strange pop sound coming from rear driver side on inspection I removed the rear seat got access to the fuel pump and the pump started to pop like it is releasing pressure it happens all day long is my fuel pump on its way out or is there some kind of blockage

A common problem is for those fuel pump housing to crack. I suspect what you are hearing is the plastic popping as temperature and pressure changes. Do you see any signs of fuel leakage there?

After removing the seat, you need to remove the round panel and then you can see the fuel pump. The left side is actually the "sender" (pickup and float for that half of the tank) and has the electrical connectors. The right side is the pump motor itself.

Didn't MB put out a letter to dealers in Dec. 2014 that covers 15 years of the car's fuel pump for leaks and repairs at the top of fuel tank?
