Haven't driven my car in a while, so I can't check at the moment but your numbers are equivalent to 176 - 230 degrees F which sounds fairly normal. I also have a 500, so I'm not sure my numbers would be applicable to your engine.

I know that the secondary cooling fan in my previous '01 Corvette would not come on until 230 degrees F. Today's engines run fairly hot.

That doesn't mean that 80 - 100 degrees C is right for your car but off the top of my head, it doesn't sound too high.

Another kompressor engine 50K
Long idle after start : 88~90 C
city crawl : 90~93 C
Highway cruise : under 90 C mostly
Sprint : -> 96+ C (WOT mode)

2003 CLK55AMG
My 2003 CLK55 runs @ 100 C in heavy traffic but since that is only 212 F I don't worry about it.
