W209 wheels for extra set
I searched the forum without being able to find the answer to my question. Hopefully, someone can shed some light on this.
I have the opportunity to pick up a set of wheels off of a 1999 or 2000 clk that are fitted with newer snow-friendly 235/45/R17 tires. I'd like to get them as an extra set of winter wheels, but I don't know if they would fit on my car (2006 clk 350 cab) without modifications.
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

They should fit but to be sure check the 3rd thread at the top of this section. You would want to know also if the "new" wheels are staggered?
