04 CLK500 NEEDS HELP
Hello all, you're always great helping these guys with issues and in was wondering if you could shed some light on some that have been troubling my clk500.
Recently i purchased the car from the second owner and it had the maf replaced the day i purchased it by them, after purchasing the car it seemed to have a loss of power from a dead stop when stepping on the gas, it then starts to go after like a second. It happened for a few days , i reset the adaptive trans settings and it went away for a few months.
It suddenly came back with a vengance. Now i have a check enging light for the MAF and the loss of power from a stop of any low MPH is there. I unplugged the maf and the issue still stays.
I changed the conductor plate and connector pin, new plugs and wires and vavle gaskets last night, started the car and after 3 minutes it would just die. It dies 3 times then finally stayed on. I drove it home but the hessitation is still there. I had cleared the mak and intake temp sensor codes but they came back on my drive home.
Short of getting a new maf im not sure what else to do.
I messaged Rudeney about this but im posting for anyones input.
