Hi Cliffybabe,

Is that the optioned Bose system on your CLK? or is it just a standard UK spec system?

And also you a/c, did you had to optioned that as well because I know the Australian spec CLK 240 was an option. Any idea what the difference is between the 2?

Unfortunately we don't get the CLK 200 Kompressor yet.

Cheers.

It's on the back seat side panels for my CLK 320 cab but I don't have it on the glovebox.

2018 E63S,
I asked my dealer to look for it, apparently there is no MBZ part number. Performance products sells that part as part of an aftermarket kit. It runs slightly over $200. They have a lot of other nice molded wood pieces. Ive seen a "stick on" piece for about $70 but somehow I dont think a stick on piece will look quite right. I didnt order the part from Perf Prod since its on backorder and will take 8 weeks just to get. Maybe we can do a group buy?

I'd like that glovebox wood trim also. It would be great if we could do some kind of group buy but I'd want to make sure that whatever we were getting was exactly what the factory installed on that picture cliffybabe posted.

I think that picture was from a special edition CLK. You would think there has to be a Mercedes part number if it came from the factory like that. Maybe it takes an experienced MB parts guy to know how to look for it.

I think Josh has it on his Saks Fifth Ave Special Edition CLK. You can try emailing Harris, but getting parts for special edition might take a while.

Not sure if this helps but that part your referring to maybe the "Burl Walnut trim" option that is only available on the Elegance.

Saks Fifth Avenue Edition

If it is indeed on the Saks Fifth avenue edition I talked to my parts guy and he said if I can get a VIN# from one of those cars he can bring up the parts list for the car and get one. Anybody on this forum has a Saks Fifth Avenue edition?

I think that the wood trim comes with the designo package here in the States. The other day I saw a black CLK 500 at the dealer with a charcoal interior and it had the trim. It also had seats that had a bronze leather front and not inserts.

I would be interested also if anyone comes up with the part number. Hmmm maybe I'll go check out the dealer tomorrow and see if I can spot another.

I also interested in the wood glove trim, i was talking to my mb dealer in perhaps October, and he FOUND the piece in the computer, But the price was about 280 in USD (maybee sound very much, but the dollar is low rel. the Swedish exchange), So i did´t bought it because i thought it was to much for just a "piece of wood".

So if anyone organize a groupbuy, i´m in!

I know a guy who fabs wood dash and trim. Will look into it and reply back (in a week or so.) Maybe he could do a run of a few for a little $$. That's a nice looking add-on. Thanks for bringing it up.

2018 E63S,
So I took that VIN number and called a dealer in California that I worked with on my S-Class. They have a good parts guy. They ran that VIN and found that the part number indicated is the SAME as a standard CLK without the wood on the glovebox. The guy then ran a "filter" and found that there are some glove box handles that arnet supposed to come with the car. He coulndt figure out which one it was supposed to be though. So after talking with 3 separate dealerships the search has yielded NADA. I think im just gonna call performance products and order the damned thing.
