how do i fix my clock?

hi all im new to forums. just got a clk500.

Dumb question, I read the manual and followed the directions on how to fix the clock..
obviously I must be missing something because I cant seem to get it right. After I adjust the clock it says to press the "R" button.
Now what is the "R"button?

i believe the "r" button is on your dash cluster. it looks like a little rod right by your speedometer.

thanks guys! found that little rod on the speedometer.
Totally missed that thing. I must be going blind.
I love all the little gadgets this car has. my favorite is how the seat belt arm comes out and hands you the seat belt then moves back in place.

Question --
If you don't grab the seat belt in time, and it goes back -- Is there any way to make it come out again, other than opening the door (while you are moving), which does reactivate the arm??

Wink Clock Fix

For those of you that have the command system fitted , I found the easiest way to put the clock forward or back was to go to the setting for different countries on the display & then press what country it then moves the hands automatically !

Hope this helps anybody out

Alex

Lucycat,

Cliffybabe is correct only if you've started the engine. If you haven't started your engine yet, than you can simply turn the ignition off and back on again and the arm will come out.

Unhappy Seatbelt

I have tried the Seatbelt option as per your discussion , this does not work with the keyless go models , a bit of apain in the A--- !

Cool Seatbelt Option

To all who have keyless go fitted , if you require the seat belt to come to you ,instead of opening the door to re-set / Simply press the gearstick & restart or put Ignition lights on[This does not work with foot on the brake pedal]

regards
Alex
