Just an update on these rotors. I drive an 05 CLK55. The RB rotors are p/n 2270. Installed last weekend. I'm using new Porterfield R4-S pads with these rotors. So far, I couldn't be happier. The combination is silent, pedal feel is more solid than with the OE rotors and pads (not surprising since the rotors were deeply worn). No shimmy, no imbalance at all. Steering feels better - it was damn good before, but feels more connected now. The front suspension feels just better - probably from a reduction of 10 pounds of unsprung weight.

All in all an excellent product at a great price. I will be ordering the rear 2-piece rotors for the car soon.
