Lighting Issue (yes, again)

I own a 2008, CLK550 - U.S. Spec model.
When I use the "Auto" function on my lights, cannot slect high beams.
When I switch to the manual mode to activate fog lights, the headlights will go-off.
Is this a simple switch issue, or some super-dooper, double-throwdown computerized module that is located God only knows where?

If a switch - best source for replacement and how do I access the back of tha panel to replace?

please help a brother out!! lol.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
Do you have the "always on" option (for DRLs) set in the "Lighting" section of the menu on the MFD? If so, I believe that is why the high-beams don't work. I don't use that DRL setting (I have a SmartTop controller that lets me use the fog lights for DRLs), and I have no issues with my high-beams, weather the switch is in AUTO or ON.

As Rodney said, it's probably just a setting. But the switch comes as one whole unit - that whole piece you can see. There is a screw that holds it in from beneath through a hole on the bottom of the whatever you call it - "dash" - that the switch is mounted in.
