Opinions on acceleration of CLK 320

I want to know your opinions on the acceleration from a stop as well as if you need to pass on a highway for the 320, say 50-70. Please compare it to other cars you have driven. Thank you

I think it very good. I haven't had any problems with acceleration on the highway or street. I recently did two trips from SJ to LA and I had no problems cruising I-5. I found myself going 80mph in no time at all, and if I needed to pass accelerating to 100mph was easily achieved and the ride was still smooth. Its probably the best ride I've had compared to any other cars I have owned or driven.

For horsepower, for sure the more the better.

For me, the 215 HP in my new CLK-320 is good enough. I have no problem to pass other vehicles on the highway. Furthermore, in US and Canada, how much more can you go over the speed limit anyway.

CLK-320 ACCELERATION

THE ISSUES YOUR HAVING COULD BE FROM THE WAY IT IS BEING DRIVEN .IT IS DRIVER ADAPTABLE IT JUDGES THE TIME IN WHICH YOU GO BETWEEN THE ACCELERATOR AND THE BRAKE IF YOU DO THIS FASTER THAN THE LAST 140 CYCLES IT WILL GIVE YOU BETTER BRAKING OR ACCELERATION. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN IF YOU WANT MORE ACCELERATION YOU NEED TO TELL THE CAR BY ACCELERATING QUICKER THAN YOU ARE. WITH THE CAR OFF PUT THE GAS PEDAL ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR THEN A BIT FURTHER AND YOU CAN FEEL A DETENT OR SWITCH IF YOU HAVE ?'S EMAIL DIRECT

Thanks for the input. I am not having issues, I was just curious as to people's opinions. I have just had 1 test drive. I ordered my CLK 320 and will be taking delivery some time in April. I can't wait. I currently have a 2001 BMW 330ci and wanted to get opinions of what people thought of the power of the 320. Of course the 500 has more, but I figure for the driving that the law says we are allowed to do, the 320 should be more than enough.
