Front control arm bushings

I hear an odd rumbling noise coming from the front suspension. It sounds like it could be the control arm bushings. I have a 05 clk320 with 100k. I heard that these bushings wear out and need replacing. Should I replace the whole control arm or just the inner bushings? The car feels sluggish on the freeway and on rough roads. Can I buy aftermarket arms/bushings? Will they hold up well? Any help would be great! Thanks 👍

very little aftermarket options and all use OEM type bushings. The short of it is buy all new arms and buy Lemforder parts ONLY.

WE MANUFACTURE UPRATED FRONT CONTROL ARM (AND THRUST ARM) BUSHINGS TO SUIT VIRTUALLY ALL MODEL MERCEDES.

ADDED BONUS IS THE CONTROL ARM BUSHES ARE PRECISELY ADJUSTABLE FOR CAMBER AND THRUST ARM FOR CASTER (THERE IS ONLY TOE ADJUSTMENT OEM!)

CAMBER – Allows to actually change the tire contact angle, improving wear/traction/understeer/oversteer

CASTER –Resolves steering pull, increases steering response. With better turn in and high speed directional control, along with improved anti dive/lift under brake and acceleration.

K-MAC has been manufacturing suspension bushings for over 50 years. These (4) above front bushings are also the highest wearing. So the unique K-MAC patented replacements are designed to have twice the load bearing area and to eliminate the OEM air voided, oil filled bushings, yet still retain the 2 axis movement. Result is improved brake, traction and steering response.

Precise/ongoing adjustment capability – single wrench on car accurately (under load) direct on alignment rack.

Fixing it right the 1st time – resolving costly, premature inner edge tire wear and steering pull - the result of curb knock damage, altering suspension height, load carrying or fitting wide profile tires/wheels. No more ongoing visits to dealers or alignment shops or constantly changing tire brands.

For the rear – similar precisely adjustable bushings for Camber (the main lower control arm inner) and replacement bushings for extra Toe adjustment. Necessary to cater for the new Camber facility.

W209 Front – Camber and Caster #502216K $480
Rear– Camber (and extra Toe)- (01 – 5/04) #502026H $320
(6/04 – 09) #501926J $380

Current promotion for MB World members USA/Canada delivery - $30 one kit or $40 front and rear (normally $70 one kit, $80 front and rear). Can pay by Visa, MasterCard or PayPal.
