CLK350 Ticking hours after turning off
My CLK350 2009 is making a ticking sound sometimes for more than an hour after I turn it off. What is it? Sounds like a time bomb.

When I drive the CLK550 hard, the exhaust really heats up and will tick as it cools, but it lasts maybe 10 minutes. This is an hour after shutdown? I'd suspect something electrical is not powering off properly. See if you can find the source, or at least general area.

FYI - after taking this into the shop, they couldn't find anything wrong, at all. I had a video recording the sound and it hasn't happened since. No charge from the dealership.
