What is the CCA rating for CLK550 battery?

Hi. Looking for a new battery (will look for a lighter weight one), but that search will be a lot easier if I knew the specs of my current battery. For my use case (winter) the only spec I care about is Cold Cranking Amps (CCA). What is that for our batteries? Part number is: A 000 982 33 08

Any help is appreciated.

I'll see if I can find where I located this before. I may have gotten it off the OE battery. From memory I think the OE was maybe 5% higher than the one I replaced mine with. There is an OE rating in the following link but I seem to recall that the rating of the OE was higher than the replacement.

I would suggest you replace with the correct size and not try to save weight here. The electronics function at very specific voltages and I have had bad luck in my other car trying to use a lighter battery. I just replaced my clk battery with an Ever start maxx H8 size with 900 CCA. It works like a charm!

I agree with not focusing of weight reduction; unless you're a serious tracker. I used the battery in the link I sent to replace mine about 1.5 years ago. I think it is also the one Rodney used to replace his. It seems to work fine (said the southerner with a large garage).

NO LONGER ACTIVE
My CLK has a genuine MBZ battery (the secon in 9 years), but I put that Advance Auto AMG in the C240 (the third in 14 years, the first two beign genuine MBZ). The MBZ battery in the CLK has been a bit problematic. It keeps dumping acid out the overflow tube. I have no charging or other issue, but I think it does not like the heat down here. The Advance Auto AGM in the C240 has been great. It sits for weeks at a time and always starts just fine, and no worries about water levels.

I just ordered an Optima Red Top 8003-151. I'll install it and report back.

I probably lucked out. I replaced mine with a no name battery a few years ago and this one has been working great for 4-5 years. I think I paid less than $100CAN for the whole job.

A MB technician referred me to this store, it's a dump but they must have a few hundred car batteries there. Also, they knew what they were doing. They replaced the battery and synced all the windows for me.
