lug bolt length?

09 clk550 im putting the wheels of an 08 E63 on my car. I'm going to buy 10mm spacers for front and 12mm for rear. Im spazzing trying to figure out what length lug bolts to get. Trying to see if there is an easier way than going to pull one of my car and start measuring. Anyone know what i would need?
Trying to order everything online ASAP

Thanks

You really need to remove a lug bolt and measure it. Then it's a simple matter of adding the width of the spacer to the stock length and ordering new lug bolts, based on the depth of the wheels you are installing on your car. I would guess that the depth of thread you need to secure the lug bolt to the wheel hub would be at least the same as the diameter of the bolt - but that's just a guess. However, the bolts for the rear wheel hubs cannot extend much past the inside surface of the wheel hub flange or they will jam against the parking brake shoes.

I know for a fact that the stock lug bolts on my 05 CLK55 are 39mm, but obviously yours may be different based on your wheels.

Also, I would strongly urge you to order German RAD forged lug bolts for your car and only German DIN approved and tested lug bolts and not eBay crap. Check out the US distributor for RAD lug bolts: http://otisincla.com/index.php?route...y&path=116_224

Good luck with your project.

Thank you, i'll skip the ebay ones then. My car is at my shop, I'll wait to i can pull one off and measure it than. I was hoping not to wait but i'd rather get the correct ones the first time.
