I just purchased a clk500 with no nav disc. what procedure do I use to get up to speed with the latest map version?

Assuming you have a 2005 or later facelift 500, the process is: Get in car. Put latest NAV DVD in unit. THat's it. No interim updates needed.

As I stated above, I received mine on 3/9 and reported to the seller that it worked perfectly. He then shipped out the rest USPS First Class. If anyone has not received theirs please email the seller at the Paypal email address I PM'ed you and will provide proof of shipping.

I've been dealing with this member for years and have never had an issue.

It appears this was a good solution: turns out that the seller has TWO Paypal accounts, one @gmail.com, one @gmx.de in Germany. He emails me using the German email address so I inadvertently gave that one to a couple of members, and the seller hadn't been checking that account. Apologies all around, and all the "missing" DVD's were shipped as of yesterday 9:30 am, California time. If you haven't sent payment yet make sure you have the gmail email.
