needswings intake
Needswings makes the cia for the c55, so that would be the same body style as ours. Is there a way or has anyone retrofitted one to fit the 550 motor?

i already talked to rob at needs wings, they already made one for a clk350, he said with a couple pics he can make me one,
i decided to try and make a cold air myself for my car, i bought 3inch piping and inter-cooler fittings. I'll see how it turns out this weekend. going to use original air box with k&n

That thing looks like it belongs on a riced out Honda. Apart from the fact that it probably makes 0 additional power it also looks stupid and costs 850$...hahaha oh man.
Source the parts yourself...you can probably build it for under 100$....which you are already doing.

just another upgrade, that plastic part by the radiator support gets pretty narrow on the stock so this will flow more air, So really just a small performance upgrade to go with everything else and will look a little nice then the factory tubing
