Get a 2004 CLK 500...

they have the 5 speed trans better than the 7 speed (less issues)
the 2004 model is not the first w209 so they have done some corrections to it from the 2003 first model but they didn't screw it up like they did in 2005 with the 7 speed so my advise as a Mercedes owner is to go in between and look for the 2004 model
