I have three thousand miles on my 05 CLK 500 and have had my first problem. The overhead panel that has the lights, the sunroof switch etc died on me. My garage door opener button stopped working also. I tried changing the fuse but that didnt work and took it in to the shop. They said they have to change out the whole module (parts on order).

Has anyone else heard about this as an issue?

Sorry Nebraska - I don't recall ever reading about this issue in the forums, haven't experienced the problem myself and no one I know of has had any similar problem with their newer Benz's.
