oil leak rear driver side of engine

oil leak rear driver side of engine I have an oil leak that happens two maybe three times in the summer but almost every morning in the winter but apparently it's after the car seats but it's not every single morning usually after the car warms up a bit and a huge resonator that's on the engine pipe its brass looking and wider than most of the exhaust has oil stains on it so it's coming from directly above that resonator the covers for the injector area do not seem like they're looking I don't see anything there is a seal at the end of the cylinder head that does not look like its leaking so where could it be coming from any ideas would be helpful it's not the rear main seal because again it's dripping from up high and landing on this exhaust pipe literally at the rear of the engine straight down

I the absence of replies from someone who has experienced the same:

Since it leaks more in the winter than summer, I would check that valve covers are snug (you don't want to overtighten - use a torque wrench set to proper torque).

If oil has been spilled up front and gotten into the radiator coils, you could see oil father back for months (experienced).
- you can drop the undercarriage cover plates and look for oil on anything from the bottom of the radiator to the rear of the tranny.
- If this is the source, you can have it cleaned of use brake fluid and/or a degreaser to clean it.

So it turns out that one of the guys that replied to my post was right there are these two plastic plugs what is 35 millimeter 1 inch 65 millimeter the 65 millimeter was the one that was leaking believe it or not it's cheaper to buy this at the dealer than online $12 for the larger one $7 for the smaller one replace them both there are videos on this it is so easy to replace all you need is a small flat head screwdriver to slowly try it away and just literally pop it off with your hand when you replace to 65 millimeter 1 make sure you're quick because oil will leak out
