A HUGE THANK YOU!

I was experiencing the same burning plastic smell as many others in this forum. After searching here for answers, I ordered the cam head expansion plugs. After more research and reading all your posts, I decided to tackle the installation myself. I am not in any way a mechanic. I'm more of a start the car and turn up the radio kind of guy. Most of you said it's a 10 minute job, I planned on at least 30. Long story short, $13.00 including a hand mirror (recommended) and just under 15 minutes. Once again, thank you to everyone who posted on this subject.
It was a rare 70 degree day in Upstate New York. Perfect weather for a top down cruise about town with my copilot Blanca!

EMC, I'm not sure how to post a link to another thread but one of the threads that was a big help was titled "Burning Oil smell from pass side engine bay". There are others but you'll have to search or maybe someone more knowledgeable can send you the links.
I do have a couple pictures that I took off either that post or another. The plugs are on the back of the engine, mine has 3 (2-small & 1-larger).

I hope I was some help!

Thanks Rudeney. BTW....There is no such thing as "too many top-down days"!
