I just installed a two piece solution in my S Class. The MidCity remote starter will work within range of your key fob. A long press on the Panic button will start the car. It installs easily in the CAN bus, no wiring under the hood.
I also added the Drone Mobile unit, which interfaces with the remote starter and allows starting via your smartphone. I like that feature since if we're out shopping or whatever I can pre warm or cool the car while we're checking out. About $800 installed.
Last bit was a wifi garage door opener so I can vent the garage and warm the car via smartphone. $150, works with any brand opener.
