he charged 185 for throttle body boring, milling the shaft, gasket and return shipping

tell you tomorrow, havent really driven it yet, im taking it home tonight.

may take it out tonight to play around, they meet around here friday nights to race. Not sure if im going to do that yet

Do you know what size the throttle body is on the 2007-2009 E63 amgs and if it will fit on our car?

im not sure, i know bbk makes a 90mm for the hemi engine that you can make work, the harness plugs in but the wiring is different so you have to swap a couple pin locations on the connector, then its plug and play

Appreciate the info, this sounds like a great way to gain to 10-20 HP.

i have a separate thread with the updates
no driveabilty issue, idles fine, no cel. No it doesnt change the sound of the engine at all.
By the seat of the pants really cant tell much different pulls a little more up high. at the track it picked up a couple mph in the 1/8 mile,

Um, with the cost of those cams, the cost of new lifters, and the nightmare of a labor job, I'd just trade the CLK500 for a CLK63. Well, actually, no, I wouldn't because the CLK63 M156 engine would probably have head bolt failure and require all of this work and more to repair! Working on the camshafts and heads of the DOHC engines is a real nightmare.

I have a facelift w211 E500 estate (285kw, M273) which has a 2.47 rear axle ratio & 7speed automatic gearbox. I'm considering swaping in 3.06 diff (or only ring&pinion)+ Wavetrac LSD. Can you remap the TCU (and other electronics if needed) to accomodate this new ratio while maintaining full functionality of the car?

If yes, how much does it cost and what do i need to ship to you to get it done?
Also, If i would opt for Richmond Gear 3.23 ring and pinion, would the same above apply?

i dont know about my connections but we are dealing with different locations. i was told its not a problem they do it often.

just sending tcm to them, renntech can also do it but they wanted the whole care.
Im discussing it with speedriven now also.
