Widebody????

Need opinions people. What do you think of adding fender flares or a not too agressive widebody on the W209. Im thinking of a moderate fender flare for the car, but im not sure if it would be consider too rice or not. Also, im thinking if i do add fender flares, will it flow with the brabus kit. Any opinions would be greatly helpful. Thanks

I was thinking something like how the bmw fenders flare out. That not agressive at all, and it looks clean....dont ya think.???

Yeah nothing too extreme... just a little bit, some people on the board have done some nice widebodies, but they seem too wide for me, I like the small but noticeable flares.

Talking Go, widebody!

Widebody, cool...

Vik, who are the ones in this forum having the widebody W209? Could you tell me? I am very interested in taking a look.

Tezta, personally I only saw the immitation CLK GTR widebody on W208, so I don't know how the fender flares will look like on your W209, esp. w/ Brabus kit. But I am sure, it will be NICE!!! BTW, after you are done, since you are in LA, may I do some photoshooting for your car and post on my website??? Thank you in advance.

WEll do, Im going to take some picture of my car this weekend if it doesnt rain. AS for the fenderflares, I wanna do some research frist to see if it will look good with the kit, or i could tell the bodyshop to make it flow, but obviously money can do anything. Hopefully I can get it done, but wont be for a while. I need to slow down a bit. I just bought the car two months ago...

Slow down... No...

Don't slow down, I cannot wait to see the pictures.

So did you do all the mods in 2 months??? That's decisive and fast, amazing. I hope you are MY customer.

If you find any pictures (w209 w/ widebody), please let me know so I can suggest to my customer as well. Thanks in advance.

Yeah...not too wide.

Just about as wide as the 1974 Porsche 911 3.0 RSR.

Haven't you guy's seen the spy shots for the 2005 CLK500W?? The W stands for widebody. It has perfect fender flares both front and rear and it's only a $1,200 option and available late this fall.

Just kidding Would be nice though, very nice indeed.

Perhaps subtle fender flares like the difference between a W124 300E and a W124 500E...
