Hi 209MAD

If you decide to mold the add on bumper might as well get the full bumper kit instead of add on, and save all the trouble...

I'm also interested in the carlsson front and rear add on kit,

the price you mention that is the genuine carlsson kit? not including paint right?

please post some photos.

Hi,
I'm going to find out the details today, including availability and see if I can take some pics. I'm beginning to think 1200 bucks is unusually cheap, so I wanna make sure the guy knows what he's talking about (or I know what I'm talking about :p )
WHatever the outcome, I'll let you know.

Okay, dropped by earlier and here's what I found:

First off, not able to take pictures because they have to order the it in, they do not carry the Carlsson in stock. But guy says they're original and genuine. I'll give him the benefit on that one. Plus I have not asked him to order yet.

As for the price, it was USD 1500 for front and rear. Nothin else.

Here's my suggestion: I'll be the guinea pig and show you the results.

Wow, $1500 for front and rear is not bad at all. Now let me get this right, Is this carlsson kit the add on lip, or the Complete full bumper Carlsson-RS kit, and if it is, WOW $1500 for front and rear is a darn good price. My brabus front and rear retails for $2,195. Yeah, if you get it, please post pics. THe RS-kit looks tight...

I know it's a good price. It is the add on lip, definitely not the whole bumper. Again, this is the price for the addons only, no paint or services for installation. I don't even think the RS is available around here. Made of PU, it's going to be more flexxible than fibre glass, which are what the replicas are generally made of. Around here at least.

I was curious about how it was going to be installed, it appears no rivets will be used, the add-on will be glued to the original bumper.

I will definetly post pics, no one's seen my car yet.
