Replaced alarm siren. Switch polarity changes!

Battery on the old one was toast so I tossed in a new alarm siren which does gently beep. What is amazing is that the door lock switch on the main dash panel reversed polarity so lock is unclock and v/v.

Almost took a video in case anyone doubted the ridiculousness of this one.
This almost has to be an issue with the UCP where the central locking button is located. The way it works, when you press a button, it sends a signal over the CAN bus which is then received by any device that needs that command. In this case, the door controllers receive the signal and lock or unlock as appropriate. Since both doors are locking and unlocking together, I'd say it's not a door controller issue, this I think it's the UCP. Try pulling fuse 25 (cabin panel) to reset it.

Central locking switch functional and polarity remains reversed.
