Will it fit?

Hi guys so i know this might be a stupid question but is it possible for the hood off a 2002 clk430 coupe to fit on a 03' CLK500 with some modifications on the grille area?

I'm sort of stuck with a useless hood now after purchasing the wrong one and don't really know what to do.

your help is appreciate it.

What you do is chalk it up to a mistake you made in your life and move on. Any modifications would cost more than the correct hood. If that's the biggest mistake you make, you've had a good life.

This sounds like the best advice. Put it in the classified or ebay and get the correct one.
