I am trying to access the wiring in the center light console on my CLK500 cab. I have removed the lense and see 2 plastic white tabs that I can pull forward, however nothing will move.

Any ideas?

OK, I kind of tore mine up, I kept pulling and pulling on those white tabs and nothing. That's because on cabriolets, you have to pull the top down, and then take the plastic cover off of the top that covers where the console would be. After that there are two bolts to take out. Simple as that but it took a lot of looking before I found out.
