How to select iPod?

2009 CLK550 without Nav. iPod connector in the glove box. Plug in iPod and the Mercedes Star symbol appears on the iPod. I can't find the right button on the radio to select the iPod.

I assume it's the same as if you have Nav. That you have a menu where you can choose "Aux". Then you control the iPod through the steering wheel buttons only, not the radio. And it displays the iPod menu in the little round screen in your instrument cluster. Nothing displays on the radio.

There is no Aux button.

I figured it out. Hold down the CDC button until the Aux is displayed on the screen and then use the steering wheel controls. The phone controls and arrow buttons run through the choices of Artist Songs Playlists etc (hang up button). Select with the Phone Answer button.

Yeah holding down CDC opens up the aux/iPod connection.
