Intermittent Blower

2004 CLK 320 with the Luxury Climate Control System

I was having an intermittent blower issue with my climate control so I went ahead and replaced the regulator attached to the blower with a new one from a reputable vendor.

When I put everything back together, it was working again fine but the next day I noticed it was back to being intermittent.

I notice that the lights on the display of seem to get brighter and dimmer like the power is surging to it.

Any other suggestions? Try replacing the blower?

Did you replace the regulator resistor as well?

I replaced the regulator resistor that's attached to the blower motor. I still have the same intermittent issue.

My AC will have a mind of it's own when I have the speed dial to zero and AC on Auto.

Read couple of threads where members just place the dial at .5 or 1 click up and it behaves.

Very annoying.

Sorry OP can add any advise but would sure like to see how you fix it.
