MAF question

Hey guys, I need help as to where I can locate the mass air flow sensor in my 2004 clk320? Is it right behind the intake manifold before it goes inside? Because I think it's time I should replace or clean it. Ever since I did the cats delete I've been putting a good chunk of money into gas lately so maybe doing this might do a slight difference which I highly doubt. I also put in my first order of k&n filters to give more air flow to the engine. (At least what I've heard) if anyone has any experience with those filters let me know if there's anything + or - about them. Thanks

its exactly where you said, a plastic locking mechanism holds in it place look at some pictures because it can be a pain if you dont know how it locks, but it is easy.

try cleaning the sensor first, look into DIYs online on how to do it properly. As far as KnN filters go, people will say that the oil based filters damage the MAF sensor, but from my experience it only damages the sensor if you clean the filter with too much oil...pretty much just buy a new filter instead of oiling it clean is my advice
