Ok, what is causing this message?

Today I got my first odd message since I have owned the car. Parked in a hot lot all day. Message says "Please Release Roll-Over Bar". The little anti-roll warning icon in the clock between 8 and 9 is also lit. Rear headrests are both fully down and have not been raised in quite some time. The top works perfectly, which I thought it would not do if the car thinks the roll bar is deployed. So it looks like I'm getting some false message that even the car does not believe (unless the rear headrests actually have to be up for the top not to operate). So in the event the issue does not resolve itself on its own, where do I look?

I will wait patiently until Rodney decides to give his new car a little rest.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
Actually I am doing my regular driving - to work, maybe out for errands or a sandwich at lunch, time permitting, then back home in the evening.

Best bet is to get a diagnostic readout of the soft top controller. Absent that, try manually raising the headrests, then lowering them manually with the tool. If not, then use the button on the upper control panel.

Even though the headrests can be raised manually to be in the same position as a roll bar deployment, these are actually two separate mechanisms. My guess is that a microswitch is malfunctioning.

Do you know where the micro-switch or switches are located for the roll bar? Since the top runs its whole cycle perfectly, I don't think it can be a top micro switch.

So this morning I raised the headrests and lowered them with the dash button, and the message is gone. We'll see. I like how this car fixes itself. More competent than most techs, and cheaper too. Every electrical glitch I have ever had has resolved itself.
