Car hasn't had any display malfunction issues since I got it back, however now there was a ticking noise coming from the trunk area while the car was on?? Guys have any idea what this could be?? Thanks

You hear it inside the trunk, or from the trunk while int he cabin? If it's in the trunk, and you have multi-contour seats, it may be the air pump. If not, I;d get a mechanic's stethoscope to isolate it.

My 2002 C32 is also freaking out!
I've been reading this thread and thinking my battery might be the cause (?). I live in Canada (1.5 hours east of Montreal QC) and winter just hit us at the end of last week which mean we're in the high 20's f temp. The reason I bring the ambiant temp in my thread is that I've parked the car in my driveway last Friday and went to use it for the first time since then 2 hours ago (Sunday afternoon) and I got a Christmas light show, I know Christmas is coming!! The car almost didn't start! Ran rough and the tranny had a mind of it's own! Everything was find when I parked it last Friday.
So, got my pocket scanner and checked the codes. Here's what came out. P0300 (Random/multiple misfire), P0305 (Cylinder #5 misfire), P0600 (Serial Communcation link malfunction) & P0705 (Transmission range sensor circuit malfunction (PRNDL input)) and when I tried to start the car again it didn't want to re-start. So waited a bit erased the codes and tried again. It started and ran fine for about 2 minutes and then start idling roughly and all of those display warning gizmo came back ON! EPS, Cooling Issue, Check engine, Go to the shop, Fuel gage light, idling erratically, etc... but ONLY the P0600 came back ON! (?)
2 years ago got some code issues and replace the battery, since then everything was great, I also replace many parts to prevent issues like the tranny electronic plate, connector, filter, oil and other items not link to, I think, such a problem.
But last August I got a similar christmas light issue with limp mode. The battery pole was loose so we tighten it and bingo! But it is now not loose and I'm hopping it's only the battery?
Hope my description it not too confusing!(?)
Any other leads on what could be the issue?
Thanks
Martin
