Dealer or independent MB work shop?

posted a few threads over the last few days about my car throwing a few codes. P2092, 2096, 0746,and 0750, with some help from this forum..(Rodney is always a big help) it sounds like a vacuum leak or pressure sensor. I'm not going to try and fix this myself. I'm not sure about the cost to have this problem fixed. I have a dealer that has done some work for me on my car , and a certified MB tech just down the road that I have read some good comments on.
I want the job done right and at a fair price..like all of us.
I would be grateful for your opinons..
regards
david

I would avoid the dealer at all costs. Some things do require dealer "SCN" coding, but these would not. Find a good indy!

Generally I avoid the dealer like the plague as well. That being said, always compare prices. Sometimes some of the indy shops are right up there in pricing with the dealer and not necessarily better.
