Question Can the alarm be programmed to chirp upon activation?

My dealer was clueless on this point.

if the car doesn't have the alarm option, it is not possible like the Audi's.

CLK Coupe 200 Komp 53 Plate
it can be done put the car to netherlands mode onn the star dig, same as the c class and coupe

Is yours like that now Neil? but did you have the alarm optioned on yours? coz if you don't, I'm gonna get that done if its just a matter of setting the car to netherlands mode on the Stardiag beats having just the lights flashing!

while i was down the dealers last it was their and the stardig is the same as the c coupe, the only thing that stopped me having it done was that the c coupe owners that have it doesnt always rate the noise the car makes, but it should work

It has to be possible, when i had my old C320, it was a 2001 model and it didnt have the chirping feature, but there was something wrong with the alarm, so when i got my car back, it started chirping... so it is possible.
