Strange audio problem when convertible roof open
Hey guys,
I have this really strange problem with my HK audio system when I open the convertible roof. Whenever I open the roof the sound on the speakers gets really fuzzy from all the audio sources (radio, cd, aux etc.) but went away after a few minutes of driving. Today when I opened the top the sound was gone completely and the CDC said "no CDC". All the other audio sources looked like they were functioning fine but with no sound. Tried turning the car on and off a few times but no luck. Anyone have any ideas??

You have a problem in the fiber optic loop. It may be a loose connection in the trunk since operating the top seems to affect it. Maybe one of the fiber cables has broken loose from a cable tie and is getting rubbed or pulled when the top operates.
