Looks nice. But dont you just hate it when the left hand side exhaust (or the driver side) sticks out or extends out more than the right hand side. I have this same problem too, but I assume its becuase of how the exhaust is set up. Oh well..

Yes, you bet I would hate it if one side extended out further than the other - but I can assure you that it does'nt!!!!!!!
There is TOTAL symmetry between both sides. I guess photographic angles can do funny things sometimes.
In my experience, this exhaust is beautifully manufactured and installs perfectly with the AMG bumper. In short, I LOVE IT
Anyway, thanks Harris for posting the pics.

Hey AMG Bred!
I had the exhaust installed at European Autowerks and I think they did an extremely nice job.
The sound of the Carlsson exhaust is only very slightly different from stock IMO - I would say that if you really wanted a "loud" exhaust, then you would probably be disappointed.
If you are around this weekend, why don't you stop by for a look/listen!!!

Take out the resonator, it will be loud! I am waiting for my fiancee to complain, then I will put my resonator back on.

It's very nice, but I think it would look even better if it was slightly higher and tucked in a tad farther.

I have a RBtech tuned resonator. Sounds really deep, kind of like a nice deep V8 sound....

Wow, i havent thought about that, my car is a 2004, i wont need to get a smog till like five years later, 2009. I dont think i will keep this car that long. But yeah, i think it should pass smog ok.

BTW, if your going to HIN this sat, i hope to see you there. If you want you can hear the exhaust for yourself after the show.

Does our OEM exhuast have a resenator? Is there performance resenators out their for our CLK?

I'm waiting to purchase the Carlsson quad exhaust, but in the mean time if I can get a deep sound (not like a go-cart sound) by replacing the resenator with a performance one, then I will.
