Clk 350
Esp inappropriate

I have a clk 350 i had a accident to were i had to go over a sidewalk and it bent all my 4 rims so i had to buy some new rims and the car its acting weird it slow shifts or some times it would get stuck 3 or 2 and it also tells me on the dash the esp its been used inappropriate.

You may have damaged a wheel speed sensor, too. You need to get codes scanned from the ESP module to know what's wrong for certain. Note that a generic OBDII scanner won't work for this - you'll need to use Star Diagnosis or a tool that can read MBZ-specific system.

Oh, another thing - you may want to try re-calibrating the steering angle sensor. Start the engine, and while sitting in park, turn the steering wheel fully lock to lock several times. If the ESP error clears, that was your problem.

I just tried it did not work i think it might be one of the sensor like you saying id have to run the scanner to be sure thank you for giving me ideas of what my car has happened to it .
