Humming sound low rpm below 40kph
I had a humming sound yesterday Any ideas what its was?
I drove the car about 10 miles perfect no noises but then cruising at 30mph I could hear a humming sound above the music I had on, turned off the music to listen to this humming, On Throttle Only and went away above 35mph It only lasted about a mile and it was fine the rest of the day, I was thinking fuel pump? saying that I was low on fuel Hmm

The fuel pump generally makes more of a tapping noise. Humming could be in the tires, drive shaft, wheel bearings, or even in the rear axle. If you can duplicate it, have a friend ride with you taking turns in various seating positions to better locate it.

Yeah thanks I will try to duplicate, I cant think it was wheel bearings because it was only when I gave it some light throttle, I'm thinking gearbox now or axle like you said, anyway see how things go.
