i just replaced the battery and now I have no sound from the radio. NAV and radio operate fine, but no sound.

any suggestions

Welcome to the forum. I'd first check for a blown fuse. The culprit might be fuse #25, on the cabin panel (end of the dash, driver's side). Also, do you have a CD changer and if so, is it working? If the radio does not see the CD changer it may be a problem int he fiber optic loop.
