I'm going to try to clean my MAF first, however if that doesn't work it will need to be replaced. There are too many options for a replacement though it seems. Should I pay $260+ for a Mercedes box, buy a Bosch (do they make the oem for Mercedes), or are these all the same no matter if you buy a $30 MAF or a Mercedes MAF? What have y'all seen on these?

Bosch is the OEM Supplier so it should be a sufficient replacement if you do not want to buy Genuine: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/..._pg1.htm#item2. We always call out a rating (star rating next to part) on all parts in our catalog as well as call out OEM supplier parts. Let me know if you have any questions.

Your MB uses the Bosch Motronic engine management system and the only difference between the Bosch OEM MAF and the genuine MB MAF, is that the box doesn't have the MB logo and paying at least a 100% markup.
I always purchase my maintenance/repair parts from an online vendor that offers the OEM MB supplier and is forum sponsor.
Pelican satisfies both of my criteria. Note: If you select the 'Marketplace, drop down, at the top of the page, you'll find the full list of all the forum sponsors.
