I searched around and didn't find an answer, so;

Does the 2009 CLK350 Coupe have ambient lighting in the footwells? My 2005 E500 Estate/Wagon had them and they added a nice touch to the interior.

If not OEM, can they be added? Has anyone added them?

I don't want to create an electrical problem by trying to add them, if they were not OEM. I'm not against upgrades or mods, but I can't stand sub-par add ons, that don't look or work like factory items.

You mean lights that are on while the car is running? No. The only ambient light is that yellow one on the bottom of your rear view mirror that shines down on the center console in a nearly imperceptible way.
